Bem vindos

Inspirada pela água do lago e pela escultura do carimbo da emigração instalada na rotunda junto ao jardim das comunidades, em Almancil, a Arquiteta Ana Paula Viegas desenhou o novo edifício “Lacus” (lago em latim) pretendendo homenagear e promover a integração dos portugueses e estrangeiras, que escolhem esta vila para viverem felizes e em harmonia com o cosmopolita e integrativo estilo de vida algarvio.

Welcome

Inspired by the water of the lake and by the sculpture of the emigration stamp installed at the traffic circle next to the community garden in Almancil, Architect Ana Paula Viegas designed the new building "Lacus" (lake in Latin), intending to pay tribute both to Portuguese and foreign people who choose this town to live happly and in perfect harmony with The local installed algarvian living.

Os Exteriores

O edifício Lacus evidencia-se pela sua configuração arquitetónica adaptada à forma e estrutura urbana, onde se localiza a homenagem ao emigrante. A composição das fachadas evidencia uma seleção cuidada dos materiais, enaltecendo a conformação urbana do quarteirão e tirando partido dos alinhamentos pré-existentes, intuindo o conforto e funcionalidade habitacional dos seus interiores.

The Exteriors

The Lacus building stands out for its configuration with an architectural form that adorns the urban structure, where the tribute to the emigrant is located. The composition of the facades shows a careful selection of materials, enhancing the urban conformation of the block and taking advantage of the pre-existing alignments, intuiting the comfort and functionality of its interiors.
